Playconomics is a gamified e-book with content equivalent to a Microeconomics 1 textbook. The platform plays like a video game but educates like a regular textbook. It provides enhanced learning via an innovative approach that combines gamification, personalized feedback and experiential learning.

Effectiveness has been rigorously assessed using lab experiments, and survey data from nearly 1,000 students (see Research).

Both academics and textbook publishers agree that Playconomics is an innovation that adds value and scope to the teaching practice in the discipline, serving as a first proof on the applicability of serious games to higher education curriculum (see Testimonials).

Playconomics has won several awards from the University of New South Wales (see Awards) and will go live in March 2015.
